Approvals

In national, supranational (European) and international (worldwide) organizations regulations are worked out that ensure the user is protected against danger to life and limb or fire risk when using technical equipment in accordance with the regulations.

To be able to use relays in machines and equipment, it is often required to obtain confirmation from recognized test authorities and, if necessary, to monitor the production continuously.

Primarily the following data is checked for this:
The relays approved by a testing department are given a test number.
The approvals are quoted for the respective relay types. However, they do not always refer to the entire spectrum of types of a relay.

The test mark certifies that the relay conforms to the respective regulations for electrical components and equipment.
