Damp Heat Constant

This test is used to evaluate the aptitude of the relay for operation and storage at high relative humidity.

To perform this test, the test piece is placed in a test chamber where it is subjected to high relative humidity (93%) and a constant air temperature (40 °C).

The  test severity is defined by the stress duration (e.g. 56 days).

This test is performed according to IEC 68-2-3.
